What Are Hair Toppers?
Hair toppers, also known as wiglets, are hairpieces designed to cover specific areas of the scalp where hair loss or thinning has occurred. They are specifically designed to blend seamlessly with the wearer's natural hair, providing volume, coverage, and a natural appearance. Hair toppers are typically made of human hair and they come in various sizes, styles, and colours to match different hair types and preferences.
Hair toppers are commonly used by individuals experiencing hair loss or thinning due to factors, such as age, genetics, medical conditions, or treatments like chemotherapy. They are different from full wigs in that they are smaller in size and are designed to blend seamlessly with the wearer's natural hair as opposed to completely covering it up. Hair toppers are a great and easy option for women to regain confidence lost by partial hair loss or thinning areas by adding fuller, thicker hair in specific areas without covering the entire head.

What Makes Our Toppers Different?
Unlike most wigs and hair toppers which are made of processed silicone coated hair, ours are custom-made from Slavic hair to ensure they look 100% natural. Slavic hair is considered the best, not only because it provides the best texture match for Western women’s hair, but because of the Slavic diet which contributes to both hair growth and hair quality. However, simply using the finest Slavic hair is not enough. Hair texture and thickness must an exact match for your natural hair. There are six basic types of hair texture: fine, straight, wavy, coarse, frizzy, and curly. We can match them all.

How to Select A Topper
One thing to keep in mind when shopping for a topper is there is no ‘one-size-fits-all’. Each hairpiece is designed to offer coverage where you need it and to blend in perfectly with your natural hair.
Step 1: Choose base type
There are 2 main types of bases, mono and silk. Mono bases are highly breathable and provide a natural-looking scalp appearance, making them suitable for those with sensitive scalps. Silk bases are soft to wear and are particularly well-suited for those with thinning hair or hair loss at the crown area. There is also the option to combine the selected base with a weft base if the wearer is looking for more volume or if the hair loss covers a wider area, it can be combined with a fishnet base.
Step 2: Select hair type, colour and length
Just as we do with our line of made-to-measure clip-in extensions, clients can choose between European and Slavic hair, in any lengths between 10” to 32” and have a perfect colour match perfect. To see our strand-by-strand colour blending technique click here
